Counseling ~ An investment in your health and relationships
~Accepting new clients for telehealth in September, with in-person sessions beginning in October. ~
The therapeutic milieu can be an intimidating place, as often we enter counseling within our darkest or most vulnerable time. My goal is that when you come to my office, you feel welcomed, not judged, and leave each session with hope and vision. Specializing in systems, we will dive into your world and all its "components", making improvements systemically, allowing your hope to grow, your skills to evolve, and your relationships to blossom.
I have my Doctorate in Social Work, with over 25 years of experience, specializing in women's issues, family systems, depression, anxiety, and marital/couple issues. Expect an interactive clinical milieu, utilizing an active problem resolution lens to make systematic changes, facilitating the growth of your sense of self and expanding your voice.
Certifications include: Family systems, Integrated Nutrition, EMDR and Gottman Method (couples work).
About me ~ I am married with three daughters. As an active gal, I love to compete in Ironman races, local running events, ride horses, hike and snow ski. I currently serve in the Army National Guard as a Behavior Health Officer and made this jump in my 40's....so evolution of self applies to all humans, even therapists!
I offer a free 15 minute consultation to potential clients to assess therapeutic fit. Please reach out via the "Client Portal" button and "request appointment" for this meeting request.
